Call for Entry: Artist in Residence Program in Vienna, MuseumsQuartier, Year 2006

"Tranzit" grants six places for the "Artist in Residence" Program in Vienna, Museumsquartier, Quartier 21, from January 2006 to Dezember 2006

Tranzit is a long-term initiative for contemporary art projects in Central Europe supported by Erste Bank Group. It is a dynamic, transdisciplinary platform for dialogue between artists, curators, critics, other art professionals and their audiences.

Tranzit grants six places in the "Artist in Residence" Program in the Museums Quartier, Vienna. Applications are welcome from young artists, curators, theorists and other professionals working within the field of contemporary art from Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary. Duration of stay is two months, there is a monthly fee for the invited artist.

Proposals should include:
* Short statement why the applicant wants to come and work in Vienna
* Documentation of work
* CV

Applicants should be able to stay for two months.

Please send the material in English and in digital form (jpgs and other files should not be over a size limit of 500 kb each) to office@tranzit.org

* Deadline for proposals for 2006 is October 31, 2005.
