EAST DANCE ACADEMYFRAKCIJA - 10 YEARS24 November 2006 - 26 November 2006 Friday, 24.11. 15:00-19 00Saturday, 25.11. 1100 -14 00 & 1600 -19 00 Sunday, 26.11. 1100 -14 00 EAST DANCE ACADEMY is a research-educational project gathering several international initiatives and institutions with the goal of revalorization of East European dance history, educational model and praxis that can develop on the basis of thinking dance as a cultural, not solely aesthetic category. EAST DANCE ACADEMY is a reality check discussion with numerous experts from fields of theory, dance and other arts with a goal of setting foundation for the development of the project based on "Artistic positions on the current debate on education", a project of Tanzquartier Wien in collaboration with University of Vienna's Faculty of Philosophy and Educational Science and Institute of Theatre, Film- and Media Studies. Participants: Sasa Asentic, Bojana Cvejic, Oliver Frljic, Anders Harm, Martina Hochmuth, Emil Hrvatin, Ivana Ivkovic, Aldo Milohnic, Manuel Pelmus, Goran Sergej Pristas, Priit Raud, Marten Spangberg, Pavel Storek, Ana Vujanovic and others The evening program is part of a series of events marking the 10th anniversary of *FRAKCIJA Magazine for Performing Arts*. It includes three productions by Zagreb's younger generation of dance authors, authors whose work has integrated a research-oriented and reflective approach to choreography and performance. The three productions have all gone through a process that has included showing of different stages of the works.
